| Arctic Pipe utilizes the finest design in hollow-spindle Oilfield lathes, and highly skilled personnel. Gauging
is done with accurate Hardened and Ground Gauges. Portable Refacing tools are also available on request but are
not recommended due to inaccuracy. Tool joint refacing insures the correct make-up and seal of each tool joint
face. All Arctic Pipe recuts are machined to meet API specs with the use of proper thread gauging, lead, taper, run-out and thread height. The size (pitch diameter) of threaded connections is checked with a working ring and plug gauge set that is calibrated with an API certified reference master ring and plug gauge set as per the latest edition of API Std 5B. |
